Welcome to bbkschoolofmotoring.co.uk, the online guide to learning to drive. Driving a car in the UK is legal from the age of 17 and at this age many people take up the challenge of learning to drive. Driving a car is a skill and to be able to legally drive a car you must pass a driving test. The best was to pass a driving test is to get lots of driving practice with the help of driving lessons from a qualified driving school. Driving instructors will teach their students how to drive properly and to teach them all the guidelines for safety to themselves and others. To pass a driving test there are two parts to get through. The theory test has to be passed first and includes the meaning of signs on the road and technical information such as stopping distances at certain speed. The practical test is taken with a driving centre and an instructor will make sure that you are driving correctly during the exam. Once you pass your driving test you do not have to take a retest, but if you fail to drive correctly you can get points on your license or have the license taken away.
